  24. 1.What is DropIt! ?
  25.  
  26.     DropIt! has been written in order to make the "exploration" of the
  27.   public domain disks easier. More often than not, those disks contain
  28.   numerous files which examination needs the use of quite a lot of dif-
  29.   ferent utilities (ILBM reader, text viewer, archive utility, ...).
  30.   DropIt! enables you to do this automatically.
  31.  
  32.     To this end, it opens when it is started an icon on the Workbench
  33.   screen on which you can put another icon. The type of the file is then
  34.   recognized automatically and the associated program (chosen by the
  35.   user) started (an ILBM reader for an image for instance).

  38. 2.How can I use DropIt! ?
  39.  
  40.     Before using DropIt!, you have to install it by clicking twice on
  41.   the "Install.installer" icon (if you have Installer) or on the "Ins-
  42.   tall.iconx" icon (if you only have IconX).

  44.     Once DropIt! is installed, you just have to click twice on its icon
  45.   to launch it (of course, it can also be started by using the Shell).
  46.   DropIt! then opens an icon on the Workbench screen. Dragging and drop-
  47.   ping an other icon on it will lead DropIt! to start the associated
  48.   program.

  50.     If you wish to learn more about the use of this program, you should
  51.   read the documentations in the EnglishDocs or FrenchDocs directories
  52.   (or in the Docs directory created by the installation script).

  128.     DropIt! is the main program. It has been described in the first and
  129.   second paragraphs.

  131.     Install.iconx is the installation script for IconX.

  135.     ReadMe is the file you're reading.

  149.     This directory contains 8SVX, ILBM and text files that can be used
  150.   to test DropIt!.

  152.     Trace is taken from the AmigaLibDisk35. It is part of Jim Kent's
  153.   ilbm reader.

  155.     Fish is also taken from the AmigaLibDisk35. It has been drawn by
  156.   Scott P. Evernden.

  158.     Bang is taken from the AmigaLibDisk81. It is part of Matt Fruin and
  159.   Michael McCarty's target program.

  161.     Oh la la! is taken from an ANC demo disk.

  188.   is used by Decrunch. This version is taken from the AmigaLibDisk414.

  193.     Decrunch is a utility that enables you to decompress files crunched
  194.   by PowerPacker, Zoo or LHArc.

  196.     PlaySample makes it possible to play 8SVX files.

  198.     Thanks to ShowILBM, you can display ILBM files.

  200.     ShowText enables you to display ASCII files.
